How to Fix the Error Microsoft Exchange Administrator has made a change that requires you quit and restart

Aside from that, this post might shed some light on what can cause the pop-ups it's an old post but it serves as a good reference. Please tell me is there is any other steps that we need to follow to fix this issue. At one time, it was promised that all those prompts would go away, but so far that has not been the case. Nithyanandham Hello Andy David , Thanks for looking in to this issue. I will try to rebuild the profiles later today if I have time but it may have to wait until tomorrow.

When Exchange is behind a load balancer like this, it's best to deploy Kerberos authentication to prevent the popups. But better to avoid it altogether. In case the outbound email stops, check the Internet Send connectors. At this point I rebooted the Exchange Server, and the affected clients, and the problem was resolved. As we would not be able to do the registry tweaking on the client end ,So please let us know would it be possible for us to suppress this pop up alert from server end or is there is any patches where i can install on the client end to suppress this pop up alert? I am pretty much at a dead end here, as I've tried nearly all of the solutions that I can find.

What happened was this: We created the new databases, moved all the mailboxes out of the old databases, then deleted the old databases. Another possibility that I am going to try is changing the users that are getting the error from Outlook 2013 to Outlook 2010. Microsoft has experienced similar issues when Mailboxes are moved from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 as described in this knowledgebase article.

Note : If we receive this error message on the migrated mailbox is somehow acceptable but it affect the other users outlook profile as well i. This error is prompted while accessing the mailbox in Outlook and the root cause is allied to Exchange server. As no mailboxes have been migrated at this point in time client connections need then to be down proxied to Exchange 2010 by Exchange 2016. I have been dealing with similar issue for a while with a customer and tried so many things until I saw your article which was right on. Event viewer does have this one that may be related. Another thing to look at is if these users who are having issues have additional mailboxes open delegates, etc. We are running Exchange 2010 and most people are on Outlook 2013, with a few on 2010. As a result, any mailboxes within that database would produce the annoying Outlook restart dialog box. Actually, as of Exchange 2013, all Outlook connectivity is taking place via Outlook Anywhere. Well, after it being up all day, I haven't gotten it. Turns out that even though we had later loaded a replacement certificate, Exchange hadn't properly let go of the old one. The first involved building an Exchange 2010 server, migrating everything from 2003 to 2010, then decommissioning 2003. The bad thing is, it popped up every 10 minutes or so. Exchange ActiveSync will temporarily stop making Exchange ActiveSync requests to the Mailbox server. Next, delete the folder that you backed up from the machine. I've done this with 2 users and neither have had the error since. I only mention this because I saw a few posts above relating to disabling encryption between the Outlook client and the Exchange server. All things considered it could only have been a question of the protocol being used by our Outlook 2010 clients. However, as soon as I log onto another computer with my credentials and open Outlook 2013, I receive the error. I'm going to back up their personal data and delete their user account in Windows and then re create it and see if that gets me anywhere.
